Triple Crown Dog Academy, just northeast of Austin, is excited to announce the opening of the newest addition to the world renowned facility. The Triple Crown Dog Adventure Trail is now open to people and their canine companions as a new recreational area on a portion of the 360 acres of Triple Crown.
“We’re happy to offer this area to the community to enjoy with their pets. We feel the adventure trail corresponds with our message of interacting with your pet to help foster a healthy lifetime relationship,” say Keith Benson, President and COO of Triple Crown Dog Academy, Inc. “What better way to strengthen the bond with your pet than outside doing something you both enjoy?”
The Dog Adventure Trail was designed and constructed by a professional trail builder from the Austin area. Two miles of trail wind through the hills and woods with varying difficulty of terrain. The most unique feature of the trail are the obstacles along the first loop that were built specifically for dogs, including jumps, tunnels, and bridges.
Triple Crown is offering daytime passes or annual memberships. Memberships include a free t-shirt and a lesson with one of their certified professional training and behavior specialists. Daytime passes and annual memberships are available for purchase in their Pro Shop. Group classes are also being scheduled to teach dogs how to maneuver the obstacles in addition to basic obedience exercises.
